Alex Smalley

Alex is a highly trained ballet dancer with Vaganova technique, and has performed over 20 ballets. She attended Ballet Theatre Australia as a pre-professional student under Leeanne Rutherford and Oleg Timursin. She also trained at Kiyanochka Choreographic College in Kyiv, Ukraine and toured around Ukraine performing in 'Sleeping Beauty' as the White Cat. In 2019, she was accepted into the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. She is currently assisting the Sinar Ballet School in Bali, Indonesia. Alex is also a certified Peace Ambassador from the Institute of Economics of Peace, so she understands how to implement positive peace into the lives of disadvantaged people. She is proficient in English, Japanese, Ukrainian, Russian and Indonesian.
